Put off by eBay's complicated procedures? No problem. Partnering with Parkside Postal, Marketing Dynamics Associates does all the hard work for you. All you need to do is drop off your item at our San Francisco store. Sit back and wait for your item to sell online. Once it has, choose one of our payment options to collect the proceeds.

We do all the hard work to prepare and list your items for sale online:

  • We check with comparable items online to determine a fair market value for your item.
  • We discuss with you your options for listing the item online.
  • We take a studio snapshot of the item, to be displayed with the auction.
  • We compose the auction text, including product description, payment options, and delivery methods.
  • We list the item on eBay for the auction to take place.
  • We answer all questions from prospective buyers.
  • We package and ship your item after a successful auction.
  • We collect the proceeds from the auction and notify you of your payment options.

Payment options: Once we have notified you of the success of your auction, you can collect the proceeds online through PayPal or in person with a check from Parkside Postal. Either way, we will get the proceeds to you as soon as payment from the successful bidder has cleared.

Auction Safe

We also work with auction winners in the San Francisco Bay Area by providing them an escrow service called Auction Safe. We act as a non-partisan third-party between you and the seller. We collect from you, in advance, a return shipping fee in the event that the auction item proves to differ from the auction description and you wish to return the item to the seller. If, on the other hand, you agree that the item condition was accurately represented in the auction and wish to proceed with the transaction, we forward to the seller the payment amount you and the seller had agreed upon. We then return to you the unused shipping fee. This escrow service is of particular use for auction items of considerable value. You and the seller can both feel safe with your transaction.

How It Works

Three simples steps to auctioning your goods online:

  1. You drop off your auction items at our San Francisco store.
  2. We prepare and list your items on eBay.
  3. You collect the proceeds from your successful auctions.

Our Fees

Before the auction: You have a choice between two services, Standard for $4.95 or Premium for $19.95. With the Standard service, you get a 7-day auction listing with a opening bid amout of $1 and no reserve. You may instead opt for the Premium service, where you have the additional benefits of setting a minimum opening bid amount, selecting a fixed sell price, and having a auction listing for three additional days.

After the auction: We charge a 30% commission for an item after it is successfully auctioned off.

Auction Safe: $24.95 or 2.5% of final auction value, whichever is greater. We also withhold a return shipping fee, returnable upon successful transaction.
